Eva Riccius

Eva graduated from the School of Resource & Environmental Management in 1998. Her masters project was entitled "Scale Issues in the Fire History of a Fine-Grained Landscape". Her research project examined fire history at multiple scales in dry forest types of a highly dissected landscape, the Lower Canyon of the Stein Valley, in the southern interior of BC Her results show that differences occur in some of the fire regime parameters at different scales, providing strong support for fine scale sampling regimes in landscapes highly dissected by topography. Eva currently holds a position as ParkWatch Coordinator for Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (BC Chapter).
